All right, kids. Welcome to Plem Arcard. This is introduction to the um resumeé building certificate. It’s part of the these three things all go together. And I’m going to show you here. Oops. Let me I got to go back and grab something. Part of what we’re doing here is I’m showing you how to how to uh build websites and stuff. You do not have to be a scientist to know how to build a website. So, let me start here. See how this is not I click on this and nothing’s happening because I just updated the image and I need to update the hyperlink on it. And uh so here I go I click on it and I hyperlink and then here I’m going to hyperlink this too. So if you come here for the resume building certificate as you can see there is a dropdown and the dropown has the instructions. I don’t particularly like this arrow. I don’t like the way this arrow looks right here. So, I’m having my accordion rewritten right now. Notice how this says STEM ré builder 2 and it’s ré building certificate now. I’ve had it rewritten for me. I have AI. This is what I’m going to show you guys how to how to properly use AI. How to properly use AI. Okay. So I’m showing you how this is a quick sample of kind of the kind of lessons I’m going to be showing you guys. So resume building certificate. So here’s the here’s the accordion that was just made. And then down here it has some default stuff. Now I have a lesson over here under lesson one. I want to get this lesson in there. And this is part of the modern web development. Uh this would be part of the modern web development lesson. And so see where it says program details and then purpose requirements completion notes. I’m going to hit edit code. I might come back to that and change that. But anyways, I I have to tweak this. I’m This is an introductory video for you guys to show you how this works. So, there’s the lessons. So, so how this works is you come here and I will be basically giving you little simple lessons on a month-to-month basis. Show you some more. I’ve got some more on here like this. This would be there probably like 50 to 100 lessons per month. They’re not long lessons. They’re short. They’re quick. They’re simple. You just go through each one a little piece at one piece at a time. A little bit at a time is all. And you do this on a monthly basis for 3 to 5 years. And then you get the required 3 to five years of related familiarity to many, many different softwares on your resume when you graduate. That’s the whole point of this. This this is a step-by-step guide of lessons teaching you how to function in a corporate world in modern day from web development to communication to good written and oral communication skills. It’s uh it’s designed to get you prepared for the workforce to become professional to check the box and all the things that you need on your resume. Starting with written and oral communication skills, then Microsoft Office tools, then web development, HTML. This is just modern communication. That’s all. It’s just modern communication and uh you know you need three to five years of experience with it. So that’s what I’m that’s what I’m offering you guys here. The this this is um you need familiarity with many many many different things and you need to be using them for years and years and years to get the proper skill set. And that’s what I’m offering here for you guys. If you’re not a STEM major, this these certificates are work just for you just they work for you just the same. You just your your job application. and you choose the things on your job application that that you are your problem areas and you’re going to spend years making them your skills and qualifications. Doesn’t matter if you’re STEM or non- STEM. All of this is the same thing for all of you. It’s the STEM the STEM and PLM side is the research where I I’m showing you guys how to use your textbooks to solve problems. That’s a small piece to it. The majority of it it’s just getting you guys ready for your resume. So So this is just the introduction to the resume building certificate. The resume building certificate here is um these this is where the instructions the ré building instructions. This is where you’re going to find all the instructions to write the textbook that you’re writing. It’s a three-year program. You’re going to write a you’re going to write a textbook size book 800page textbook size book over three to five years. And in that book, you’re going to pinpoint and target every single thing that you need on your resume. And you’re going to get excellent written and oral communication skills. And you’re going to have three to five years of experience. You’re going to have your own website. So you you you’ll be writing your own textbook here. Here’s all the instructions are here. I’m just putting it all together. It takes a long time to make all these. Then you have your own website. Mine’s jonathan.david.plumacademy. And here I’m walking you through the steps of building this one lesson at a time. That’s the modern web development certificate that you guys see on the front page here. That’s these lessons here. So you’ll be simultaneously doing these together. It’s 12 24 36 month. So you do one and the other each month flip-flop basically. or you can you can go at your own speed, but it’s not it’s not designed to stress you out. It’s a little bit here and a little bit there. So, all of the lessons here into the modern web development, all of these lessons coincide with writing your book. As you write your book, you go over here and you’ll add pages to your website. So, you’re going to do this one first and then this one and then mix and match. This one here, the scientific communications via electronic means. This this is uh your choice. This is this one here is about learning how to communicate mathematical languages and science languages through everything. If you want to do this, this one here, that’s your choice. This one here is related to communicating through all of these. But the the the 36-month program of you writing your own textbook size book, it doesn’t matter if you’re a STEM major, a non- STEM major. All of you guys in college, you are training to become authors. That’s what they’re looking for when they hire people. Authors, professional writers that can communicate correctly. That’s what you do in a high-paying job is you write books basically. That’s what you’re going to do because you’re going to write detailed instructions and you’re gonna have a team of people execute them. If you’re high up in a business, that’s what you’re going to do. You’re going to deliver instructions and have other people do the work. You’re not going to be building anything. You’re going to be writing the instructions and have other people build it. So, that’s what I’m getting you ready for anyways. So, so this is the resume building certificate introduction. You’re going to learn how to use these things properly. I didn’t have AI do any of the of the critical thinking stuff for me. I had it do the grunt work. And I don’t need to I don’t need to sift through every single line of the grunt work because it HTML here is interactive. I can see that it came out the way I wanted it to. It looks great. If you have AI write papers for you or do research for you, you’re going to have to cross reference every single line and make sure that it it’s actually true. We’re not doing that. We’re using it as a tool. It’s not for critical thinking. Anybody is using it to help them learn math or write papers, you’re destroying your future. That is not going to help you get a job or anything. So, you see how nice this looks, though? I mean, it looks beautiful. I just would like to get this blue to match the purple instead, but I don’t know. It’s fine. It’s not that you don’t, you know, as curiosity killed the cat, perfectionism killed the entrepreneur. At some point, you just got to, you know, it’s good enough, right? But although it is bothering me, I might have to change it. Get it back to the purple. Uh, so anyways, so this is introduction to the resume building certificate. It’s for anybody. If you’re non- STEM, if you’re a STEM major or non- STEM major, PLU major, this is for all of you. This is it’s a program you do yourself. I do a monthly mentorship for non- STEM and for STEM majors. We meet through Zoom. So you and the other people the idea is you you’ll have your own website hosting all your information and you’ll interact with the other students and peer review. That’s important for the oral communication skills and the written communication skills. You’re going to interact with other PLM Academy students. You’re going to learn how to build a website. You do not need to be a scientist to build a website. It’s very easy. It’s just a step-by-step process and there’s a lot of moving pieces that someone like me who knows all the pieces can prevent you from wasting time and just streamline you into an effective person that can do this stuff. Because if you if you if you were a non- STEM major or if you are a STEM major, it doesn’t matter. You have the you know how to work with WordPress and HTML and AI and do all this and you have the proof that you built your website and you wrote the book documenting all of this stuff. You’re going to be very useful to a lot of people and you’re going to stick out like a sore thumb in the application process because you’re going to have all of the proof with your resume, years and years of of evidence showing you do know how to do this. They’re not even going to interview you. They’re going to be like, “Yeah, you’re hired. Nobody else that applied even has anything remotely close to this. You’re hired.” Okay? So, I’m I’m setting you up for your future here. Okay? I’ve been doing this for 15 years with students one-on-one and I just brought it to the internet is all. And um so check it out. So, this is lesson one. I just show you I go into Microsoft Word and I show you how to format it correctly. And then, uh, is this the one where I gave it my title? Yeah. You see there? There. So, this is the front page of my book. I showed you guys in the first lesson is how to format the book. All right. So, I will this will be like an 800page book. So, it’ll probably be around 400 videos. So, I will be documenting every single video of me writing it. I’ll be writing it ahead of you guys. I’ll be always a couple months ahead of you guys and over the next three years then my book will be completed in entirety and then that that will be the dedicated library for everybody going forward. So uh that being said this is how it works and this is the resume building the resume building certificate is going to be the lessons of that are going to be me documenting me writing my same my book the same way you guys are writing your book. This is a book that’s separate from the books that are on the front page here. This book is separate from these books. It’s a It’s literally I’m doing the exact I’m going through these exactly the same way you guys are. That’s how I’m making the lessons. I’ve outlined I’ve had I got it all outlined. It’s just a ton of work to make thousands of lessons is all. So, there’s going to be thousands of lessons here for you guys. Thousands. That’s the internship package versus the research. But the research is more than enough. I have an option if you just want to meet with me once to get the ball rolling. There’s an initial internship, not internship, but there’s an initial package where you can meet with me once. It’s more expensive the first month and then the next month it goes down to the to the to the research position every month. So, if you just want to meet with me once and go back down to the lower rate, totally cool. If you sign up for the higher rate, you can lower it to the lower rate. Like, if you meet with me every month for like six months and then you realize, you know, you’ve heard enough. We you don’t need to talk with me every month anymore. You can lower it whenever you want. Okay? I the the point of this program is that you lock in for three to five years and you do the work and you have it all documented on your website and you write the book so that you have proof evidence and you have the confidence to put it on your resume and say look I know how to do all of this. I’m ready to go. FE preferably by senior year or when you’re leaving with your graduate degree, you would have all of this done so that when you apply for a job and you send your application, they go to your website and they see what you have done. They have everything that you’ve done documented and uh it’s a very valuable thing to do. Okay. All right. So, that is uh the resume building certificate.
