Okay. So, where do you find the questions that they put on exams in college like math and physics exams specifically? Ah, is it very important that you understand how a textbook works or a collection of data that’s scientific?

In in most cases, the questions you’re going to be assigned are always going to come from the textbook. If you have a textbook, if you don’t know if you have a textbook, you must you either have not read the syllabus. I have had a lot of students come to me with mastering physics and my math lab and say they don’t have a textbook. They were never given a textbook. They just given these questions. So, the textbook’s included with this with the online software. That’s how they That’s how they overcame the pirating. Everybody was pirating these books. So, they’re like, “All right, if you’re going to pirate the books, then we’re going to force you to pay for the homework, the online homework. It and I know it’s it’s it’s it needs to online homework is destroying STEM education. It’s not good. It doesn’t help you. It treats it like a casino and you’re just trying to match the answer and ding ding ding, I did it right, but you don’t even know how any of it works.

So, uh, the questions that are on the exams are usually going to come from the textbook. The reason why is because the textbook itself is its own container of rules. And when you take questions from other books, the rules that you use in this may not necessarily apply to those questions. It’s it’s operating under a different set of rules. In mo in most cases it will be the same but that’s besides the point. It’s from a different source. You guys are being trained to learn from a textbook and that textbook contains all the questions that are bounded by the textbook. It would not make sense for the professor to take questions that they make up or questions that come from a different source and put them on an exam. it wouldn’t make sense because you’re supposed to follow the rules of that textbook. So, they got to take questions from that book related to that book. It might be hard for you guys to understand that, but other books use different mathematical techniques, definitions, theorems to get to the same answer. There’s no one right way to solve any math problem. There’s many ways in infinite amount of ways to solve problems. You’re supposed to follow the structure of the book that you’re in. So the now now now then then then you’re like okay I see what you’re saying. So now how do I know which questions are going to be on the exam from the book? Now I know where the questions come from. How do I now how do I know which ones will actually be on the uh exam? Well, if they did it during class then there’s usually a a sister question in the back of the book. in the back of the book, in the not the back of the book, but in the question banks in the back of in the back of each section or chapter,

there’s usually like if you’re in a math course and it’s science-based math, there’s usually like two questions in the back that was like a circus wheel is spinning at this rate and then you have a a car wheel was spinning at this rate or something and they’re like brother sister questions right next to each other. Question 49, question 50. If they did one of those questions in the class, then they’re probably going to put the adjacent question on the test. Your the example questions are usually the example questions in the reading. Usually those make up like probably 50 to 75% of the questions that will be on the exam.

And then your homework. They’ll usually take the one question on the homework that everybody got right that was supposed to get wrong or the one that everybody got wrong they were supposed to get right. They usually take one question from the homework that everybody messed up on because if you all went to the internet and found this solution for this question and it was not the right solution and you that’s what you guys all did. you all went online and cheated. Then the professor will put that question on the test and you will me you will remember the fake solution and you will get the question wrong and you will wonder why you got it wrong when because the professor is like that’s not the right solution and you’re like but I copied it from the internet. How could that not be the right solution? I copied it from the internet. That’s where you get legit information from dotcoms on the internet. I mean, some of you guys that like that’s how you think. Look, I I used to think like that, too. Once you become properly learned, you’ll start seeing these things more clearly. They’re not going to give you questions that don’t come from the book because those questions are bounded by the rules of that book, and you’re in that class, that course to study that book. You’re there to study that book. That’s another thing you guys understand. You’re in that course to study that book. And you’re like, “Yeah, but I can memorize fake solutions from random sources on the internet, copy them, go to class, copy it down on paper, and I pass the course.” I go, “Yeah, it’s called a scam. You’re being scammed. You are allowing college to be a scam by not following the rules. It says in the syllabus, it says in the code of conduct that you won’t do that stuff.” And you’re like, Okay. If I wasn’t allowed to do it, then how come I can do it? I go, that’s the line between law and not having law. You’re walking down a line that’s invisible. To the left is law. To the right is whatever you want to do. That line’s invisible, though. You can choose to walk in any direction you want. And so when you’re in college, you said you’d agree to the code of conduct in the syllabus and the syllabus says you’re you’re there to study that book and you’re like you’re going to random sources to study that book. You’re in that course to study that book. Why are you leaving the book? You’re not getting an education when you go online and you watch people sol solve random problems or similar problems that come from other sources. You’re you’re you’re just copying things to get a a fake education. There is a scam side to every business. Businesses have to they they can’t you can’t survive in a business if you’re not maximizing profitability. And these colleges you need to understand these colleges they know that the statistics they know which one of you are going to fail and which one of you are going to succeed but they let you come to college anyways. I tell you that the statistics at like Berkeley are like 92% success for engineers and everywhere else it’s like 20 to 30% su success success. Why is that? It’s not because Berkeley’s a better school. It’s because they don’t allow they don’t accept people that are statistically going to fail. And all the other schools, they have the same mo demographics, whatever. They have the same numbers. They know these things, but they let you in anyways. They know you’re not going to succeed. They’re like, “Dude, you’re not going to succeed, but bro, we need your money.” In my business, I try to be as straightforward and upfront with things as I can, but when I I’m selling books out in public, and I can’t pay my bills if people don’t buy the books. And I know this little old lady, I know she’s a sweet old lady. She wants to support me, but she’s going to be miserable reading my book. And I have a moral issue to be like, “Look, it’s I” So, I put warnings on my book. I’m like war my my my newest book says warning white women will find might find this offensive and you might why why white women? I’m like because it has it’s because it’s written very racist, very derogatory, very unethical. It’s just like watching Chappelle’s show mixed with South Park or something. But the little old lady’s like, “Oh, I want to read it.” I’m like, “You’re going to hate it.” But I sometimes I’m like, “Oh, it’s a good book, but you know, I put warnings on the back. I have to.” I go, “There’s a warning on the back. What are you complaining about? I told you it was going to be a rough ride. And you’re like, “Yeah, but this is like I I wasn’t expecting this.” I go, “That’s why there’s a freaking there’s a warning, there’s a parental advisory, there’s a 18 plus, there’s disclaimers. Like, this is going to be intense.” And you’re like, “Yeah, but this is how human minds think, you know, and you that’s how you guys think. You’re like, how? I went to I went to college. I agreed to the code of conduct. I I agreed to follow the syllabus and the syllabus says we’re learning we’re studying we’re here to study this textbook. That’s what we’re here to do to study this textbook. That book itself as its own closed off ball of knowledge that can be thrown at technology and science. We’re here to study that book. And you’re like, “Yeah, but I don’t like that book.” I’m like, “Why are you in that class then? You should be at a different university that has a book that you like the the books. It doesn’t matter what math book you use is you either know how to read this stuff or you don’t. Yes, there are advanced math that’s very intricate stuff to read. Takes a very long time to understand it. I mean long time and I I’ve been doing this for a long time. That’s that’s why you’re doing it one course at a time. A little bit at a time because it takes a long long long time to understand these books. A long time. And it it’s just like physical exercise. If you don’t practice it regularly, you lose your muscle strength. I mean, even me, when I when I don’t do math for like two weeks and I open up a book and I’m like, “Oh god, what is this again?” And it’s like I’ve only done it 10,000 freaking times and I’m like, “Ah.” But if I’m not actively practicing math on a day-to-day basis, I uh I I tend to lose the strength that comes with practicing math on a daily basis. And uh but I do that still, you know, that’s that’s what Plem Academy is. It’s always just doing math every day. Every every day I do an hour or two of math pretty much and share it with you guys. And um my dog here who is relentlessly needing my attention every single minute of the day. Relentless. and uh trying to do math, trying to trying to do a 30 or 45 minute math problem live when you got this thing pecking at your leg. Wait till you guys have kids. All right, because I feel like I’m being punished. I’m trying I’m just trying to do some work and this dog won’t leave me alone. I love her so much, but she’s just like an interdimensional energy sucking machine. She’s latched her claws into my soul and I I can’t break free. It’s It’s messed up. But I I love her to death. But uh that you know, go to college before you have kids. I I remember my other two dogs every time I sat down at the computer to study math and physics, they’d be getting their toys and squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak. Every single time I’m like, God, it’s almost like God is telling me, “Dude, this is not the right. You should do something else.” Because every time you sit down to study math or physics, your dog starts squeaking this and that. It’s really annoying, but it’s stress builders. You know, there’s two different ways to look at it. It’s it’s helping you with stress, and that’s what college does with exams and things. The stress of doing the exams, the stress of of accomplishing things by a certain date, you know, that that stress is what makes you superior to somebody that does not have a college degree, your ability to get through that stuff. And uh but you know, so when you’re when you’re uh when you’re looking for these questions that are going to be on the exams, guys, it’s it’s they come from the textbook. Every once in a while you have a a professor that just randomly makes up crap and then but n 99 out of a hundred times a professor is taking the questions from the book from the reading the ones that have the solutions. You need to understand kids even though your professors have PhDs they don’t know how to read those solution manuals any better than you do for the most part. Those teacher solution manuals are not very effective. So when they choose questions for exams, they often choose the ones that come directly from the textbook reading because the solution is within the reading and that solution is is easier to understand and easily verified. The teacher solution manual questions, there’s no guarantee any of those are right. It’s it’s a guessing game. They were written by uh TAs and undergraduates and graduates and they’re wrong all the time. A lot of them are wrong all the time. Sometimes they’re right. And even if they’re right, that doesn’t mean it’s right. How do you know it’s right? You got to use experiment and stuff to show that it works. Maybe

I did an experiment in an engineering course before I studied calculus. He wanted us to take a box and cut a hole in it and calculate the amount of time it takes for the water to drain. So, I did an algebraic approach where I took incremental approximations and I did a pretty close calculation. and he laughed at me and he’s like, “All you had to do was use the fluid equation from calculus.” And I’m like, “What’s calculus? I haven’t gotten to calculus yet.” That was a very beginner basic level engineering course but he was asking us a pretty of higher calculus 2 I think it was calculus 2 question on uh rates of change and stuff and uh apply applying this applying the calculus to science to physics you know and I I had just started so I wasn’t entirely sure how to do any of that but anyways my point is if you guys want to know what questions are going to be on the exams You go to you go to lecture, the ones that are on the board are likely to be on the exam. You go to the book, the example readings in the book are the ones likely to be on the exam. And then there’s usually a random question from the question bank that they put on the exam and then one from like your homework pretty much like every single time. And the questions that are on the exam, it’s pretty simple to figure out. It’s not the one that takes an hour to solve and it’s not the one that takes five seconds to solve. It’s the one that takes about 15 minutes to solve. you’re being tested on your knowledge on this and uh on a time and and usually the TAs take the exams first and if the TA can complete it within that time frame then you guys are given it. Now that’s the TA they’ve done these courses already. They’ve done a lot of practice and it takes it’s hard for them to get through these exams and now you guys are going to go do these exams with the first time experience which is why you have to take practice exams constantly take practice exams every week. And those practice exams should be comprised of a question that’s easy, middle of the road, and hard. One you’re confident with, not confident with, and really not confident with. three questions three times a week. You do that, your life will be much easier. You’ll thank me. But uh yeah, in in order in order to know where ma in order to know what’s on your math and physics exams, it’s pretty simple. They can’t really take questions that aren’t from the book because then they wouldn’t follow the rules of the book. So, you got to figure out where the where they’re getting them from in the book. And after you get your first exam back, you can take that exam as a key to go locate where they found these questions. And what you’ll usually find is that they’re all from the textbook. You are in that class to study the textbook. It’s fascinating that you guys argue with this. You literally signed up for that course to study that book and you don’t even open it. It It’s It’s not the same subject. If you’re flip-flopping books, you can’t There’s no easier book. you’re there to study that book. You should probably start studying it because that’s what you’re there to do. Study that book. All right, that’s my two cents on uh where you find them problems up in those math and physics courses. So, I’m I’m redoing these things just I’m just I’m I’m rebuilding it. I’ve got a lot of other stuff that I have to do, but I’m I’m redoing this for you guys and I’m just trying to I’m trying to bend YouTube’s algorithm by providing you guys the best service I can.
