The project involved:
- Creating thousands of lessons.
- Building educational systems.

Building something valuable often requires solving problems that nobody warns you about beforehand.
Unexpected Challenges
A major theme throughout the lesson is overcoming unexpected obstacles.
The discussion describes difficulties associated with:
- Platform limitations.
- Business models.
- Revenue sharing systems.
- Content distribution.
- Audience access.
- Long term sustainability.
Rather than abandoning the project entirely, the lesson explains how these challenges became motivation to redesign the system and search for alternative solutions. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
The Importance of Persistence
Persistence is one of the central ideas explored throughout the lesson.
The discussion emphasizes that:
- Problems can often be solved.
- Temporary setbacks are not permanent failures.
- Adaptation is a valuable skill.
- Creative solutions often emerge over time.
- Long term goals require patience.
The lesson presents entrepreneurship as a continuous process of identifying obstacles and finding workable solutions. :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}
Transparency with Supporters
One of the primary reasons for recording the lesson is to provide transparency regarding previous fundraising efforts.
The discussion explains that donations received during a difficult financial period helped address educational expenses and provided stability during a period of uncertainty.
Because circumstances later changed, the lesson announces a willingness to refund supporters who contributed and would prefer reimbursement. :contentReference[oaicite:4]{index=4}
Trust is built through honesty, transparency, and a willingness to do the right thing even when it is difficult.
The Purpose of P.L.E.M. Academy
The lesson revisits the broader purpose behind the academy itself.
According to the discussion, the goal is not merely teaching individual subjects.
The larger objective includes:
- Teaching students how to learn.
- Teaching students how to read textbooks.
- Helping students build resumes.
- Developing professional communication skills.
- Preparing students for employment.
- Supporting long term career growth.
The focus remains on creating practical systems that connect education with professional opportunities. :contentReference[oaicite:5]{index=5}
Building a Sustainable System
Another major theme throughout the lesson is creating a system that can operate independently of large platforms.
The discussion explains how websites, mentorship programs, educational resources, and direct student engagement create a more stable environment for long term growth.
The lesson frames this transition as a problem solving exercise that required significant experimentation and persistence. :contentReference[oaicite:6]{index=6}
Lessons from Entrepreneurship
Several entrepreneurial lessons emerge throughout the discussion:
- Expect setbacks.
- Remain adaptable.
- Continue improving systems.
- Solve problems methodically.
- Focus on long term goals.
- Maintain integrity.
These principles apply not only to businesses but also to academic and professional development. :contentReference[oaicite:7]{index=7}
Helping Students Build Careers
The lesson also highlights the philosophy behind many P.L.E.M. Academy projects.
Students are encouraged to:
- Research career goals.
- Study job applications.
- Identify required skills.
- Build evidence of competence.
- Create professional portfolios.
- Develop expertise over time.
The emphasis is placed on long term skill development rather than short term academic performance alone. :contentReference[oaicite:8]{index=8}
Success often comes from repeatedly solving problems rather than avoiding them.
Final Message
This lesson serves as both an update and a thank you to supporters. It reflects on the challenges of building an educational business, the importance of persistence, and the value of maintaining trust with the people who support a project. The discussion concludes with gratitude, optimism, and a renewed commitment to helping students learn, grow, and prepare for their future careers. :contentReference[oaicite:9]{index=9}

Hey everybody. This This is your favorite neighborhood mathematician.
Uh I just want to make a I want to make a quick video for those of you who show very generous support to me earlier this year. I was in financial pinch because um I’ll explain you guys what happened. Uh Plem Academy.
I was starting Plem Academy through a little company called YouTube and YouTube memberships. And uh as I built the company and put everything together, I had thousands of lessons. And then I saw how much uh of a a cut that I got from your guys’s [clears throat] uh monthly memberships and I deleted everything. And when I did that, it put my YouTube channel and everything in hiatus. And it took like three months to get it out of like shadow the shadowban world or whatever. While I was doing this, I had decided, you know what? There’s no way I can combat these big huge corporations. I just can’t get around it to offer this service to you guys. I can’t reach you. I can’t I can’t reach you guys without going to these companies. And I can’t whatever. It’s just a freaking nightmare. However, I am a relentless bastard and I will not stop. When there is a problem that needs solving, I will not stop until I solve the problem because I have a great service to offer you guys. I have a a world of knowledge for the modern student preparing to go to either grad school or into the workforce. I spent 15 years of my life doing this, guiding students one-on-one through college into professional life. Okay. Um it’s I’m an expert at this. Okay. So, I want to share it with all you guys as you see what I’m doing now. And but what I did is earlier this year, I decided, you know what? I’m just going to throw in the towel on my business and go back to school. So, I started a uh I started a GoFundMe campaign and um to request assistance for my services one way or another so that I could pay my back tuition that I owe. The pandemic was a freaking nightmare. Okay, the adults understand. The people who went through hardship during the pandemic understand. The spoiled kids that are now turning 18 that were too young to know what the heck the pandemic was and the rich people that didn’t experience any hardship from the pandemic will never understand what we went through. So, I can’t talk to mental patients which is those people. My point is is that a lot of you donated very generous amount of money to me and I would like to reimburse you because I am not going I it’s not likely I’m going to re return to school because I’m running Plym Academy and I solved the problem to get you guys to come to my uh website and engage in the Plym Academy live mentorships or Zoom and all that stuff. Uh I figured it out. It it was a gigantic puzzle, a problem. I’m a professional problem solver. I figured it out. It’s working seamless now. I got a whole bunch of people that signed up and we’re rocking it out. Plem Academy is a foot. It’s a success right off the bat. I did not anticipate as many people would sign up as they did so far. I mean, I just started this thing and I just got the whole thing laid out and I’ve got thousands and thousands of lessons to make in order for you guys to follow over the next three years of your but writing your textbook and whatever. So, I’m whatever. My my point is is that a lot of you were very generous and you gave me money in a time of need for something that I’m not going to ultimately go do. So if you if you donated money on a GoFundMe campaign to me um on one of the GoFundMe campaigns, if you made a donation and you would like a refund, send me an email with your receipt and I will refund you. Okay? I may not refund you immediately depending on how much you donated. Uh, but I will refund you over the next like 90 days. I will send you a refund if you want it. If you don’t want it back because you’re like, “Hey, I’m totally okay with supporting you whether you used that money for school or not.” I I showed you guys the receipts. I used it to pay my tuition bill that I owe and I showed you guys the receipts. So, that money did go to my tuition, but um I would like since I’m probably not going to be doing that. I would like to re I would like to reimburse those of you who made a donation if you want your money back. Okay? I’m not in the business of being stingy or taking advantage of people. I’m like Forest Gump’s mama. Mama says there’s only so much a man needs and the rest is just for showing off. That’s my mentality. I just want to be comfortable and not stressed. And um I’ve been very stressed because I have a great service to offer and I keep getting ripped off by these um big businesses. And uh so I found I found a way through this. The best of both worlds. I give I give the big social media companies what they want to be satisfied and in exchange they get to profit off of my work for free and then I get to use my work to get you guys to find my websites for my fiction books and my plum academy and my other stuff and uh so I just wanted to say thank you guys for supporting me and if you want your money back I’m more than happy to reimburse you because I’m doing fine now I was you don’t understand what happened my income was fine and then it was snuffed out for 90 days because I chose to delete everything and uh because I deleted everything because I I made the choice. I didn’t realize, you see, I didn’t realize the amount of money that they take when you guys submit a payment through one of these corporations. They take everything. It’s not cool at all. It’s It’s absurd. They’re going to destroy their business by doing it because no one’s going to want to do business with them when they see what they take. you spend a year building something anticipating a fair amount of of trade and they take everything and so I got really upset and I deleted everything and I started over. Okay. So, but uh just this is just I just wanted to let you guys know if you if you did make a contribution to the GoFundMe and you would like your money back, just let me know. But if you’re happy to support me, I’m more than happy to hold on to that money because I am still in a financial um pinch, you know, because that’s life. But everything is going good now. My book signings in in full motion. My book signing tour and um Plym Academy is a foot and so I’m good now. It’s just in it was like around January. All of this work I did last year was in vain because I I I set it up, launched the memberships, a whole bunch of people signed up, and I saw myself get nothing. And I’m like, what kind of a business partnership is this where I work a 100 hours a week for a year and I get nothing. What kind I don’t understand what these people that run these companies are smoking. It’s it’s not it’s not like what? So anyways, um, luckily I know how to build websites and I know how to do everything. So I just start my own business and it’s working very well and I’m I’m comfortable. I’m on I’m on my way back to the sixf figureure income lifestyle I had pre- pandemic and uh I’m on my way back there. Things are going good. I thank all of you for sticking around and showing support. And I just want to let you know that I’m not a greedy stingy person. If you want your money back, I’m not going to do what I was planning on doing with that GoFundMe money. So, I only feel that it’s necessary or right for me to offer a refund to you guys that made that contribution. So, that is um my reverse gift to you. However, I I appreciate if you don’t want the refund and want to support my work continued. Um I’m just I’m redoing everything that I’ve done. Uh whatever. So, that’s all organized on my website, hosted with YouTube videos and whatnot. So, that’s all I wanted to say. Thanks again. Have a great weekend, week, whatever. It’s Memorial Day 2026. Have a great holiday or whatever country you live in. Just enjoy being alive because you’re here. Enjoy it. Have a nice day.
