PLEM Academy Schedule

Live Sessions, Research Meetings, and Participation Guidelines

The PLEM Academy Schedule is designed to be flexible and accessible. You can participate in the research position, internship, and certification program whether you attend live sessions or work independently.

Participation is based on engagement and contribution, not attendance.


Public Live Stream Schedule

For the time being, PLEM Academy will host live public sessions Monday through Friday at approximately 11:00 AM Central Time.

These sessions are streamed at:

These live sessions are open to the public for viewing. Some interactive features such as chat participation may require a YouTube membership depending on platform settings.

Live sessions may include

• Math lessons
• Physics lessons
• Research discussions
• Problem solving walkthroughs
• Book development
• Internship guidance
• Project building sessions
• Open academic discussions

These sessions are recorded and may be viewed later.


Official Research Member Meetings

Official PLEM Academy Research Member Meetings are held via Zoom.

These meetings will take place

• Sundays, or
• A time that works best for research members
• Once or twice per week depending on availability

These meetings are for

• Research collaboration
• Project discussion
• Internship progress
• Lesson planning
• Book contribution discussion
• General academic support

Attendance is encouraged but not required.


Attendance is NOT Required

You do not need to attend

• Live YouTube sessions
• Zoom research meetings
• Scheduled collaboration sessions

to receive credit in the research program.

The PLEM Academy model is asynchronous and flexible.


How to Get Credit in the Research Program

To receive credit toward

• Research participation
• Book contributions
• Internship experience
• Certificate progress

You simply need to complete the following steps.


Step 1: View a Lesson

Watch or review any lesson from

• Live streams
• Posted videos
• Lesson PDFs
• Research materials
• Project discussions


Step 2: Create Your Work

Solve or respond to the lesson by

• Writing your math
• Creating notes
• Solving problems
• Explaining ideas
• Structuring your work clearly

Your work must be typed using Microsoft Word.


Step 3: Screenshot Your Work

Once completed

• Take a screenshot of your typed work
• Ensure it is clear and readable
• Keep formatting organized


Step 4: Convert to LaTeX

Use ChatGPT to

• Rewrite your work in LaTeX
• Clean formatting
• Improve readability
• Prepare for website publishing

This converts your work into a professional mathematical format.


Step 5: Post Your Contribution

Post your final LaTeX formatted work according to the comment guidelines.

Your contribution will count toward

• Research participation
• Book credit
• Internship progress
• Certificate requirements


Comment and Contribution Rules

To receive credit

• Work must be your own
• Work must be typed clearly
• Work must be organized
• Work must follow lesson topic
• Work must be converted to LaTeX
• Work must be posted respectfully

This ensures all contributions remain professional and publishable.


Flexible Participation Model

• Daily
• Weekly
• Occasionally
• Independently
• Without attending meetings
